I started my creative journey as a UX/UI designer, focusing on digital products, interfaces, and user-centered experiences. Over the years, my work expanded far beyond screens. I began creating children’s books, building brands, designing printed objects, organizing cultural events, and developing concepts that connected with people emotionally in completely different ways.
Not limited to one industry or medium, but focused on creating meaningful human experiences in all forms — digital, physical, emotional, and cultural. Whether it is a personalized children’s book, a food festival with thousands of visitors, a beautifully printed postcard, or a digital platform, I am interested in how people feel, remember, connect, and interact with what I create.
Based in Berlin, I work across design, storytelling, creative direction, branding, illustration, and experience creation, always combining conceptual thinking with strong technical understanding.
In 2019, I founded my creative studio, Battuta Labs, through which I have developed and collaborated on a wide range of creative and digital projects.
In 2020, I launched the world’s first personalized Islamic children’s book through battutabooks, which has since grown into a collection of four personalized books for families around the world.
I am also the founder of the Halal Food Festival Berlin — Germany’s first Halal Food Festival — which welcomed more than 5,000 visitors at its first edition in Berlin in September 2025.
Together with my partner Hind, I also co-founded Gaufres du Monde, a minimalistic risograph postcard project focused on visual simplicity, emotion, thoughtful typography, and carefully curated color compositions.
